I’ll be honest, there’s not much of an update to report today, as I’m short on time, but this blog has a new look.
I’ve gone for a dark mode by default, as the last one would flashbang users by default (sorry about that!), and those who know me, know I ride or die for dark mode. I had a cobbled together toggle that couldn’t easily be used on mobile, but now there’s no need for that.
However, I’d like to shake my fist at WordPress for making what seems to be an easy way to edit themes, a lot more difficult than expected.
This resulted in the aforementioned lack of time.
I don’t know if you’ve ever experienced this, but sometimes I’ll find myself spending hours on a single task, sometimes quite a small one that has very little impact, just to get it working/right, but without looking at the time.
Unless I’m interrupted, I’ll look at the clock and it’s been hours.
Anyway, there’s still some rough edges in places, which I’ll continue to work on as time allows.
